I strive to offer services that reflect both the depth of the work and the level of care provided. If you have questions about fees or would like to explore options, you’re welcome to reach out. Payment FAQs

  • Payment is collected at the time of service via credit card, cash, or check.

For client services and consultation, I use Ivy Pay to process payments, which we will set up during the intake session. Ivy Pay is a HIPAA-compliant credit card processing service that is both secure and confidential. Your card information is stored directly with Ivy Pay, and I do not have access to it. Most major credit cards are accepted, and HSA cards may also be used.

Groups, classes, and workshops are paid through Paypal.

  • I independently accept Humana. I am currently in the process of becoming paneled to accept Oscar and Oxford insurance plans through Headway. As a contractor with Headway, they will verify your insurance benefits, manage claims, and handle all insurance billing. For clients using these plans, Headway serves as the billing platform and point of contact for insurance-related questions.

If you have a different insurance plan or prefer to use out-of-network benefits, I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. A superbill is a detailed receipt that includes the necessary information for your insurance provider to review and determine any out-of-network benefits based on your individual plan.

  • I value our time together and make every effort to honor the session appointment reserved for you. Because therapy appointments are set aside specifically for each client, advance notice is essential when changes are needed.

I respectfully request a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for any cancellation or rescheduling of a session. Providing 48 hours’ notice is greatly appreciated, as it provides the best opportunity to offer the time to another client. If you become aware that you need to change or cancel your appointment, please let me know as soon as possible, even if it is outside the requested notice window.

Cancellations or rescheduled sessions with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged the full session fee, as it is difficult to fill in an appointment vacancy with short notice. I understand that unexpected situations can arise. If something comes up within 24 hours of your scheduled session, I encourage you to still attend the session whenever possible so we can talk through what is happening together and use the time in a supportive way.

  • Under the law, health care providers are required to provide a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges to individuals who are not using insurance or who are self-paying for services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of services, including psychotherapy sessions and any related services.

You may request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling services or at any time during treatment.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill.

To request a Good Faith Estimate or for more information, please contact:

You may also start a dispute resolution process with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). If you choose to use the dispute resolution process, you must start the dispute process within 120 calendar days (about 4 months) of the date on the original bill.

Keep a copy of your Good Faith Estimate in a safe place or take pictures of it. You may need it if you are billed a higher amount.
